VAJ.Power
Since moving to the UK from Russia 10 years ago, VAJ.Power aka Sof, have found their feet as a VJ artist, promoter, DJ and artist manager. Driven by a desire to facilitate and promote safe(r) spaces for underrepresented voices in performance and music, over the past five years, Sof has become established as a pioneering presence in the Glasgow music community.
In this feature Sof discusses early influences, live gig experiences with their Mum, finding their feet in the UK and how a passion for live visuals led them to the world of electronic music. They reflect on the changes they've seen in their local music scene and what's yet to come from them and their community.
